Disc Brakes
A disc brake is a brake that clamps on to the rotor, applying pressure to generate friction to apply and maintain the brake. The disc surface is exposed to air, allowing good heat dissipation, providing stable braking and a long service life. Because of their relatively small size, they can be added to existing machines for safety enhancement.
Features
- Relatively small and easy to secure installation space inside a machine
Application Examples
- Braking of rotating body
- Holding the rotating body
