Various shapes, sizes and materials of abrasive media can be provided according to the polishing purpose.

Types of barrel finishing machine :

• Centrifugal finishing machine: A hexagonal or octagonal shaped barrel revolves giving a centrifugal force to the contents which enhances finishing performance significantly. It is good for hard but fragile work pieces to avoid chipping.
• Rotary barrel finishing machine: An octagonal shaped barrel rotates at a relatively low speed generating a sliding layer. It supports from rough finishing to luster finishing.
• Centrifugal disc finishing machine: A rotating disc is situated at the bottom of a stationary tub. As the disc rotates it generates a cyclone eddy flow. It is good for cutting burrs on work pieces.
• Vibratory barrel finishing machine: A vibratory motor and a bowl are mounted on springs. Flow is generated and adjusted by the frequency of motor rpm. It is good for cutting burrs on small to large size work pieces.
